What We Research

Open Source Intelligence Services

Every investigation uses only lawfully accessible public information — systematically collected, cross-referenced, and documented to an evidential standard.

High Demand

Anonymous Account & Online Persona Identification

Anonymous accounts used for harassment, defamation, or threats frequently leave identifying traces — metadata, writing patterns, cross-platform correlations, and indirect personal details. We build an intelligence picture that links the account to a real identity — documented for legal proceedings.

  • Cross-platform account linkage
  • Writing style & pattern analysis
  • Metadata extraction where available
  • Timeline & activity correlation
  • Real-world identity association
  • Court-ready source documentation

Individual & Personal Research

  • Social media profiles & activity
  • Asset & lifestyle research
  • Court & public records
  • Property & vehicle registration
  • Online presence mapping

Corporate & Business Research

  • ABN/ACN & ASIC records
  • Directorship & ownership history
  • Insolvency & court filings
  • Competitor intelligence
  • Due diligence research

The Process

How an OSINT Investigation Works

From your brief to a structured intelligence report — here's how OSINT investigations are conducted.

01

Research Brief

You tell us who or what needs investigated and what you are trying to establish. We define the research scope, advise on what's achievable, and quote a fixed fee before commencing.

02

Open Source Collection

Systematic research of all relevant public sources — social media, court records, business registers, news archives, property data, and online platforms — documented with timestamps and source references.

03

Correlation & Analysis

Findings cross-referenced across sources to build a coherent intelligence picture. Patterns identified, timelines built, and connections between accounts, entities, or events documented.

04

Intelligence Report

Structured findings with source documentation, timestamps, and investigator's declaration. Formatted for your specific purpose — litigation support, due diligence, or personal decision-making.

Common Questions

OSINT Investigation FAQ

01 What is OSINT and how is it different from a standard background check?
OSINT (open-source intelligence) is the systematic collection and analysis of publicly available information — social media, news, court records, business registers, academic publications, and online activity. A background check typically covers a defined set of record types. OSINT is broader, deeper, and particularly effective at building a picture of someone's online presence, associations, and activity.
02 Can you identify an anonymous online account?
Often yes. Anonymous accounts frequently leave indirect identifying information — writing style, timing patterns, metadata, cross-platform activity, and correlating details that link the account to a real identity. The feasibility depends heavily on how careful the subject has been. We advise on likelihood before commencing.
03 How long does an OSINT investigation take?
A focused investigation on a single individual typically takes 2–5 business days. Complex matters — multiple subjects, extensive online activity, or international reach — take longer. We provide a realistic timeline and scope estimate before commencing.
04 Is researching a person using OSINT legal?
Yes. OSINT research uses only publicly available information — information the subject has made accessible or that is a matter of public record. We do not access private accounts, impersonate individuals, or use any method that would constitute stalking, harassment, or unlawful access.
05 Can OSINT findings be used in court?
Yes, with proper documentation. Our OSINT reports include source documentation, timestamps, investigator's declaration, and methodology disclosure — structured for court use. We do not rely on screenshots alone; we document source provenance for each finding.
06 Can you monitor someone's ongoing online activity?
We can conduct follow-up OSINT at intervals to document changes in an individual's online activity over time — useful for ongoing litigation, restraining order breaches, and corporate monitoring. Ongoing monitoring engagements are scoped and priced individually.
