What We Provide

Every protection engagement starts with a confidential threat assessment. We match the response to the actual risk — not a template.

The Process

How Protection Engagements Work

Protection is never one-size-fits-all. We assess the threat, design the response, and adapt as the situation evolves.

01

Threat Assessment

Confidential briefing on the nature and level of the threat. We assess who the risk comes from, when the highest-risk windows are, and what level of protection is appropriate — covert, visible, or both.

02

Protection Plan

A tailored plan covering the specific risk windows — routes, timing, level of visible presence, communication protocols, and escalation procedures. You know exactly what to expect before deployment begins.

03

Deployment

Protective operations commence — covert surveillance, close protection presence, or K9 integration as required. Any breach or incident is documented in real time and escalated to police where appropriate.

04

Ongoing Review

Daily debrief and threat reassessment. Protection profile adapted as the situation evolves. Engagement extended, scaled up, or stood down based on real threat intelligence — not a predetermined schedule.

Common Questions

Close Protection FAQ

01 What is the difference between close protection and protective surveillance?
Close protection is a visible presence — the operator is physically alongside or nearby and their deterrence effect is intentional. Protective surveillance is covert — you are watched over without the subject of the threat knowing protection is in place. The appropriate approach depends on the threat type, the client's profile, and whether deterrence or intelligence gathering is the priority.
02 Is close protection the same as a bodyguard?
The term "bodyguard" typically refers to a visible, stationary presence — someone standing at a door. Close personal protection is a professional, mobile, and dynamic service that involves route planning, threat assessment, advance work, and close physical proximity when required. We provide the latter.
03 Can you protect someone in a DV situation?
Yes. DV escalation — particularly in the period following a separation, DVO application, or court date — is one of the highest-risk windows for survivors. Protective surveillance and close protection during changeovers and court appearances is a core capability. We work discreetly alongside your legal team and support workers if you have them.
04 When do people typically engage close protection?
The highest-risk windows are typically: the period immediately following a DVO application or escalation event, court dates where a perpetrator is present, child changeovers where a confrontation risk exists, public events where an executive or public figure is exposed, and threats following a relationship breakdown or business dispute.
05 What is the K9 protection pathway?
For individuals who need a physical deterrence layer at their home or with their family, we breed and train Belgian Malinois and DDR German Shepherds at our Nerang facility. This is particularly relevant for DV survivors who need a protection layer at home that works around the clock. We assess suitability honestly before recommending.
06 Do you provide protection for executives or businesses?
Yes. Executive protection, corporate threat response, and discreet personal protection for public figures and business owners are all within our capability. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements — engagements are individually scoped.
